COMMON CLIMBER FUNDRAISER 2020
The Common Climber fundraiser is now over! Thank you so much for your participation and contributions!
Common Climber is an all-volunteer online magazine by, for, and about Common Climbers. Here's what we are raising funds for:
- To cover basic operational expenses so we can keep Common Climber growing!
- Have you noticed that we don't have annoying ads popping up and flashing in your face? That's because we want you to have an enjoyable, peaceful experience while reading about your favorite sport! But ads normally cover the costs of free resources - unless we obtain funds in other ways.

- To get the word out! Common Climber is about YOU and our fellow climbers. We want people to know about your writing, art, and photography!
- We are getting the ball rolling on a new exciting project - a gorgeous, oversized, print edition Anthology! This is going to be a feast for the eyes and will highlight some of the best stories and photographs submitted by Common Climbers, and also include some new material.
As an all-volunteer magazine, the funds we raise will go a long ways and will be used well! If you like our philosophy and enjoy the platform (including on Facebook and Instagram), can you pitch in?
Here's how to contribute - and they each have limited timeframes!
This GoFundMe campaign is from August 1-15, 2020. If 100 people donate $10, we will reach our funding goal! Can you pitch in $10?

EditorialAdmittedly getting started with this editorial has been a little challenging. Why? Because this month we are focusing on money.
Money can be a thorny topic... |
Meet Our Common Climber Advisory Board & Assistant EditorAs I mentioned in my editorial: "Part of my efforts at transparency and accountability is by having an Advisory Board. This is a group of five incredible people in the climbing world who are also volunteering their time to provide input and guidance. I pass just about everything by them." Let's meet the Board!
