Hey all! My name is Jonathan. I often go by Far Out Dude! I am a native to The Old North State, North Carolina. I once worked for a 5 Star Resort. I genuinely thought it was the real 'bees knees' - everyone who was anyone vacayed there. Then I discovered the 5 Billion Star resort. Or, as the late great Jimmi spoke, I experienced it! And I've lived in it ever since.
I am a part time (soon to be full time) nomadic traveler. I have been sleeping on couches, hanging in hammocks, squeezing into quaint vans, and fully 'experiencing' the Great Outdoors for four years now. Climbing, bouldering, camping, hiking, trekking, and pure adventurism has completely taken over my life...and I've never felt more at home! Along with rock climbing, I spent four years 'on the road' as a communications tower technician. You want to talk about some intense climbing! A 2000 ft radio tower is a phenom that I can hardly ever speak about!
I now spend most of my time typing out paradoxical adventures and any article I am invited to write on how to thoroughly take in and enjoy The Great Outdoors! In my free time (which just so happens to be All the Time) you will find me on the high trail to no where fast, scaling mountains or sprawled in the grass. Either way, you know I'm laid back and taking in my daily dose of Mother Earth. From the mountains to the seas, I write of the lands that have become my dreams!
