A climbing guide and photographer on his 23rd lap around the sun. Climbing is my life. There’s nothing I love more than the touch of cold hard sandstone against my skin (don’t tell my girlfriend).
I live on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. For the past 6 years I have dedicated the majority of my time to the pursuit of adventure through rock climbing. During these years I’ve enjoyed pushing my limits at home and overseas. I spend most of my time on the wall clipping bolts though I crave most the moments of pure slow building adrenaline that comes from the intricacies of trad leading.
In recent months I have been laser focused on exploring new aspects of the sport. Through photography I have opened a door to a whole new side of climbing I had never seen. I’ve spent most winter days dangling meters above my friends trying to get the perfect shot and my thighs have never been so tender. New routing has also been high on the agenda. Many days of walking through the burnt countryside has led to multiple first ascents and some of the best experiences so far.
I’m about trying hard and pushing the limit, though I only care if we can laugh about it in the process. My ethos is to keep it light hearted.
