Thank you so much for your interest! Your experiences as a climber, whether you have been climbing for 1 month or 20 years, are ones we can learn from and, as common climbers, ones to which we can relate!
This site represents inclusivity and high quality. If you provide a submission, it will most likely be posted as is, but I may also ask questions and provide constructive feedback or minor edits prior to publication. I will do my best to be thoughtful, constructive, kind, and supportive. Think of it as a positive exchange between two people who like to climb, write, and share!
The goal of Common Climber is to have a diversity of voices and resources presented in a refined and well-edited package (this makes it nice for the reader). I recognize that just as we are not professional climbers, nor professional photographers, we are also not professional writers, so I will try to keep this "real." Nonetheless, we want to strive for quality and diversity.
Some submissions may get sent back with suggested revisions and, for various reasons, some submissions may not get posted.
Reasons for not posting a submission may include:

Reasons for not posting a submission may include:
- The work was sent back for revisions and the revisions were never completed or received;
- The submission does not fit or align with the vibe or goal of this site. I will not post overly negative, derogatory, demeaning, or arrogant - such as I am better than "newbies" and get out of my crag - submissions;
- The submission is repetitive or too similar to other submissions that are already posted (but this does not mean I won't post similar topics, so submit it anyway!);
- Submissions may be removed over time (such as gear reviews for products that are no longer made or as the site evolves).
Thank you!
